When’s the best time to buy your wedding dress?
Here Karen answers your questions about buying your wedding gown. So leave her a message here and she’ll get back to you!
When should you start shopping for your wedding dress?
How long before the wedding should I get my gown?
So if you’re like most of us, we like options. We like to see what’s out there and given the time, we can show you designer gowns and off-the-rack options. Designer gowns have a 6-9 months lead time from when we order the dress to getting it in the shop.
We also need to have time for alterations, so make that 10 months in advance for having no stress on making it.
Now, the lead time depends on the designer, and some don’t take that long, so we can get it earlier. We will work with your timetable and not show you dresses that won’t get here in time.
There are also rushes we can put on deliveries, but those can be anywhere from $100-$300 extra, again depending on the designer.
The only way to know for sure if to come in and let us know the date. We’ll back it out and figure out which designers will work.
If you’ve got a short time frame, don’t fret! We have 100s of wedding gowns in stock and you can choose from. Those are ready to walk out the door with you. The only consideration there is for alterations and we can rush those too if we need to!
The gown pictured about is one of hundreds of off-the-rack gowns we have in our shop.
