Bridal gowns that aren't cleaned and preserved yellow and stains set in. And just cleaning it doesn't do the trick either for keeping it looking great for years. It needs to be preserved to stop the yellowing and keep it looking like the day you wore it.
Even if you don't want to save it for your daughter to wear someday, you can always take a piece off of it or some lace or beading and add that to any friend's dress - so they'd be carrying a piece of your special day with them.
Preserving your gown allows you make decisions about what you’d like to do later. If you choose to do nothing with it now, those options will be gone.
